Bimetallic Treatment of Screw
The bimetallic screw for extruder twin screw is a kind of screw spray welding a 2~3mm-thick alloy coat on the screw flight of output area for the screw . The Bimetallic treatment has excellent corrosion resistance, abrasion resistance and high working temperature. And its useful service life is greatly improved contrast to the common nitrided screw.
Hard Chrome plating for twin screws
We will do the hard chrome plating for the twin screws, especially at the metering section of the screws, which will make the screws more anti-corrosion, more anti-wear especially the feeding mix raw material including some acids or other corrosive substances.
We can modify & design the screw geometry
We can design the screw geometry and Length for you according to your finished products and output capacity. Our factory started to do the parallel twin screw barrel since 2006, stable quality and precision tolerance won customer's trust.
PTA Machine
The bimetallic treatment of our screw by the PTA machine. It is a advanced equipment which has not been broadly used in bimetallic treatment. Compare to the manual process the advantage is better temperature stability, dense structure and uniform thickness and not liable to crack.
Bimetallic Treatment of Barrel Type A
In order to make barrel more lifetime, we will do the deep width grooves at metering section of the barrel then spraying the alloy powder on the width groove. The width is about 100~150mm, the bimetallic depth about 2~4mm
Bimetallic Treatment of Barrel Type B
The Bimetallic Barrel is centrifugally cast a 2~4mm thick alloy coat sleeve put into the metering section of barrel inner wall which has excellent corrosion resistance, abrasion resistance and high working temperature. And its useful service life is greatly improved contrast to the common Nitrided Barrel. Bimetal has more obvious advantages when processing high calcium carbonate powder PVC mixture to enhance the abrasion life.
